“With faith as small as a mustard seed…”
Have you turned on the news and thought, ‘what has happened? I do not recognize the world any longer?’ We can all agree the world started to change during Covid19, but according Jonathan Cahn, a Messianic Jewish Rabbi, it began long before 911, 2001.
The world is changing and how you answer one question will have a profound impact on your future. “Who do you say I am?” A question asked by another well known Rabbi over 2,000 years ago. Even now, events unfolding in the state of Isreal appear to be Biblical prophecy unfolding before our very eyes. On November 29th, 1949 with the adoption of Resolution 181 the last event (giving Isreal back land that the Babylonian empire took in 597 BC) occurred that needed to precede the Rapture of the Church and the beginning of the end times events. But it all points back to that Rabbi’s question from 2,000 years ago; “Who do YOU say I am?”
Even now, there is HOPE!
I would like to add one more thing. If you are seeing this and doubt that there is a God who DEEPLY loves you. Please pick up a Bible and read. It is a love story written for “you”. Someone once said “A Lion does not need to be defended. Open the cage and let the Lion defend himself” God does not need me to prove himself to you. My job is to tell you of his love, ask you to pray “Lord, I want to believe. Help me past my non-belief.” And the see what God does in HIS power and might – for your good and His Glory.
Penn Jillette, from the well known Penn & Teller,
once said: ⬇
“I’ve always said that I don’t respect people who don’t proselytize. I don’t respect that at all. If you believe that there’s a heaven and a hell, and people could be going to hell or not getting eternal life, and you think that it’s not really worth telling them this because it would make it socially awkward—and atheists who think people shouldn’t proselytize and who say just leave me alone and keep your religion to yourself—how much do you have to hate somebody to not proselytize? How much do you have to hate somebody to believe everlasting life is possible and not tell them that?
“I mean, if I believed, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that if a truck was coming at you, and you didn’t believe that truck was bearing down on you, there is a certain point where I tackle you. And this is more important than that.”
While I respect Penn’s vantage point and it is a point we should take very serious, the bible also notes “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from His workmanship, so that men are without excuse.…” (Romans 1:20)
That said, I do not want to be an hinderance but an open hand inviting you to take Christ up on his offer. If nothing else please pray “Lord, I want to believe. Help my unbelief. If you are real, do not give up on me but make yourself known to me.” …and see what happens.
You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times. _Matthew 16:3-5
